Sales of carbon allowances under the EU common auctioning platform got off to a shaky start this week, with very low bidding interest and a slump in prices.

But on Friday auction platform host EEX told ENDS that the timetable for the early auctions – which has already been revised once to allow potential bidders more time to register – will not be changed again.
