Energy wins in MEPs’ Horizon 2020 budget

The ITRE committee wants to increase energy research funding in the Horizon 2020 programme for Europe’s next budget period. But other areas would suffer

The European Parliament’s industry, research and energy committee (ITRE) wants to increase energy research funding in the Horizon 2020 programme for Europe’s next budget period. But other areas of the EU research scheme would suffer.

At this stage of the budget negotiations, the text does not give the actual amount of funds that would be allocated to different parts of the programme.
