The EU executive has set out its initial views on how endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) should be defined and categorised across regulatory regimes.

Its ideas are outlined in a discussion paper presented to an ad-hoc group of officials from member states, EU agencies and the European Commission on 30 November.

The paper is also being discussed by a separate group of experts, which ENDS understands will report its conclusions in February.
