Parliament vetoes EU end-of-waste criteria for paper

MEPs have rejected a European Commission proposal granting the end-of-waste status to recovered paper before being reprocessed at paper mills

A resolution opposing the draft regulation was adopted in the parliament’s plenary assembly on Tuesday with 606 votes in favour, 77 against and 10 abstentions.
