Member state representatives will vote this month on whether to push back the deadline for the implementation of projects granted funding under the NER300 programme

Member state representatives will vote this month on whether to push back the deadline for the implementation of projects granted funding under the NER300 programme.

Projects granted €1.2bn under the first round of the EU scheme for innovative renewable energy should have become operational by the end of 2016, but would now have until the end of 2018. The deadline for the final investment decision would also be pushed back two years from December this year.
