A new strategy on heating and cooling and initiatives to promote member state cooperation on renewables will be among the European Commission’s energy priorities in the coming years, a senior official has indicated.
The crisis in Ukraine has put heating high up on the agenda, the official told the European Forum for Renewable Energy Sources (EUFORES) conference in Lisbon on Friday. EUFORES is a network of MEPs and members of national parliaments.
