The Swedish government has been advised to require companies to report on whether their chemical products contain nanomaterials

The Swedish government has been advised to require companies to report on whether their chemical products contain nanomaterials.

The Swedish Chemicals Agency, Kemi, said an existing requirement for firms to register their chemical products with on the Kemi product register should be extended to require firms to state whether chemical products contain nanomaterials.

It did not propose requiring firms to report on nanomaterials in articles.
