The European Chemicals Agency has updated guidance relating to the presence of hazardous chemicals in product components following a landmark court ruling

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has updated guidance relating to the presence of hazardous chemicals in product components following a landmark court ruling.

The update was issued to reflect a ruling by the EU Court in September that said existing rules to notify the presence of ‘substances of very high concern’ (SVCHs) over a concentration of 0.1% applies to components of a product as well as the assembled whole.
