REACH authorises six uses of two lead pigments

An application to authorise the non-consumer use of two lead pigments has beenĀ granted by the REACH committee

An application to authorise the non-consumer use of two lead pigments was granted by the REACH committee yesterday.

The committee gave a favourable opinion on the draft Commission decision to authorise the use of lead sulfochromate yellow and lead chromate molybdate sulfate red (also known as Pigment Yellow 34 and Pigment Red 104) for six different uses. The opinion was agreed by a majority of member states.
