EU Council member states have proposed reducing the time period for introducing a new energy labelling system from three weeks, which is supported by the European Parliament, to 10 days

EU Council member states have proposed reducing the time period for introducing a new energy labelling system from three weeks, which is supported by the European Parliament, to 10 days.

ENDS has learned that the proposal was made by the Council around four weeks ago as part of the talks with the Parliament on the proposed new EU Energy Label Regulation for appliances such as fridges and washing machines.
