The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and two leading industry bodies have agreed to support greater use of ‘sector use maps’ to aid better communication throughout the chemicals supply chain.

The agreement, between ECHA, the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic) and the Downstream Users of Chemicals Coordination Group (DUCC), is part of efforts to improve the quality of REACH applications ahead of the registration deadline in 2018.
