A coalition of more than 250 institutional investors has urged the automotive industry to shift production to manufacture more electric vehicles as they brace for increasingly stringent climate policies in the wake of the Paris Agreement.

A group of investor associations, including IIGCC and IGCC, has published a guide encouraging carmakers to accept the global move towards low-carbon policies and the impacts it could have on the industry and, by association, its investors.
