The European Commission chose not to put its draft criteria for endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDC) to a vote at two committees of member state experts last Friday after warnings they would be blocked, ENDS has learned.
Confronted with criticism on the draft EDC criteria it presented in June this year and on a revised version from early November, the Commission did not clarify during the meeting when the vote would be held.
