The European Commission has called for views on whether the EU should continue to offer financial support for infrastructure investment in the fields of energy and transport.
The consultation on the mid-term review of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), which opened today (Monday), asks interested parties if investment in the fields of transport, energy and telecommunications should be an EU priority. Their views are also requested on whether the sectors face common challenges or whether each sector should have their own programme.
