Two low-carbon energy projects in Spain and one energy modernisation project in Croatia have received loans worth more than €240m from the European Investment Bank

Two low-carbon energy projects in Spain and one energy modernisation project in Croatia have received loans worth more than €240m from the European Investment Bank to help boost their green developments.

The EIB will provide a €80m loan for Bilbao-headquartered CIE Automotive, an automotive product maker, to help finance its research and innovation strategy aimed at developing innovative technologies to reduce the weight of vehicles and ensure low-carbon manufacturing processes.
