Agrichemical giant Bayer is set to appeal an EU court ruling backing the partial ban of three bee-harming neonicotinoid pesticides.

The General Court upheld the ban in May, dismissing a challenge by Bayer and Syngenta.

Germany-headquartered Bayer said it was concerned the verdict could have “far-reaching consequences” for the “certainty and predictability” of active substance approvals in the EU.
