Policymakers should step up their commitment to encourage the financial industry to direct more capital towards environmentally sound assets, green campaigners and think-tanks argue in a joint statement released on Monday.

Ahead of the EU Parliament elections in May and the subsequent change of European Commission, they say legislators should expand the Sustainable Finance Agenda into further policy areas, such as taxation, trade and development.
