The European Chemicals Agency acknowledged on Wednesday the findings of German regulators, who confirmed in a recent review that the majority of chemicals registered for use in Europe do not comply with the EU's REACH regulation.

German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) found that almost two-thirds of chemicals used in produced or imported into Europe in high volumes do not comply with the EU's flagship chemicals regulation, designed to protect the environment and public health.
