All ongoing evaluations of plant protection products for renewal of EU authorisation will have to be assessed against new criteria for identifying endocrine disrupting chemicals, governments have agreed unanimously.

In a closed committee vote on Wednesday, delegates accepted a European Commission proposal for a 'stop the clock' measure to ensure pending applications are tested against the new EDC criteria, which come into force on 10 November.
