The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) urged companies on Tuesday to ensure the chemicals safety data they are required to submit is complete and up to date, in the wake of a damning report from German regulators.
The Helsinki-based agency reminded firms of their legal obligation to regularly review and update the information they provided when registering substances under the EU's regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH).
