Lobby groups in Brussels and across Europe have been reacting to the European Commission’s long term strategy for slashing the EU’s greenhouse gas emissions.

The International Association of Oil and Gas Producers’ director of EU affairs, François-Régis Mouton, said the industry looked forward to giving carbon capture and storage and hydrogen the “place they need to support reaching the EU’s objective under the Paris Agreement”.
