EU member states must urgently heed the European Commission’s recommendations to bolster their National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs) by December, according to a number of industry groups and environmental campaigners.
The Commission’s analysis of each member state’s draft NECP has found they would not allow the EU to reach its energy efficiency and renewable energy targets for 2030.
