Infographic: who sits on the new energy committee?

The European Parliament’s industry, research and energy (ITRE) committee’s brief includes proposing amendments to legislative proposals in key climate-related policy areas. In the last parliament ITRE worked in parallel with the ENVI committee responding to the Commission’s long term carbon reduction roadmap. 

The committee also worked on files addressing energy efficiency, infrastructure, investments, buildings energy performance, energy markets, labelling and carbon emissions trading system reform.
