A leaked draft of a report on climate change and land use has called for a stark transformation in the way the world manages land to limit the negative effects of global warming. 

According to leaked iterations of the draft report from the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), solutions to degraded soils, forests and drained peatlands are absolutely necessary to limit global temperatures from rising above 1.5 degrees Celsius.
