MEPs gave the green light on Tuesday to Janusz Wojciechowski to be the next EU commissioner for agriculture, after a second hearing that followed his failure to persuade the main political groups in the European Parliament last week.
Lawmakers quizzed Wojciechowski once again about his views on the ongoing reform of the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and on whether he would table new legislative proposals.
