The European Commission must produce contingency plans to support EU-funded projects while negotiations over the next long-term budget are on hold, according to MEPs.
The European Parliament adopted on Thursday a resolution updating its position on the next multi-annual financial framework (MFF) for the years 2021-2027, warning that there is a “clear risk” that negotiations with member states will not be complete by the end of 2020.
