European lawmakers must resist pressure from the fossil fuel, waste incineration and nuclear industries to water down draft EU criteria for green investments, a group of over 50 environmental campaign groups has said.
They set out ten specific demands as the European Commission closed on Monday a consultation on the conclusions of an 'technical expert group' (TEG) tasked with developing a 'taxonomy' defining what will qualify as sustainable finance under forthcoming EU legislation.
