Environment groups have urged EU member states to raise their contributions to UN Green Climate Fund to “no less than at least double initial contributions”.

As member states representatives gather at the pledging conference in Paris tomorrow, many are expected to outline national contributions to the second financing round of the UN’s Green Climate Fund. Environmental groups will be watching the contributions of Belgium, Switzerland, Finland and Italy, who are yet to give clear pledges.
