MEPs on the parliament’s Environment Committee have urged the EU to take a harder line in its position on CORSIA, the controversial international aviation offsetting scheme

MEPs on the parliament’s Environment Committee have urged the EU to take a harder line in its position on CORSIA, the controversial international aviation offsetting scheme.

“We have to be much tougher and critical given the urgency to limit our emissions, especially from aviation,” said Green MEP Bas Eickhout at a committee session on Thursday.
