In a report published on Friday, the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP) warned that the EU’s transition to a circular economy would not be sustainable “by default” if the policy does not reflect the implications both internally and globally.
The paper, which examines the interface between the circular economy, trade and sustainable development, sets out recommendations for the bloc to better integrate its policies and aims.
