Interview: former EU environment commissioner Janez Potocnik on the need for systemic change and circular economy

Former commissioner for environment and for science and research Janez Potocnik, who has co-chaired the International Resource Panel (IRP) at the United Nations Environment Programme since 2014, spoke to ENDS by video about the EU executive’s New Circular Economy Action Plan unveiled this month, a vindication of his conviction that management of natural resources must play in any attempt to create a truly sustainable economic and social model.
