EEA hails ‘steady but slow’ drop in Europe’s air pollution

Levels of Europe’s main air pollutants continued to fall between 2017 and 2018, according to data compiled by the European Environment Agency (EEA), in part crediting emissions abatement technology and fuel switching in the power sector for the decline.
