Shell economist: ‘green elements’ now central to Europe's recovery

Oil giant Shell's chief economist recognised on Wednesday that environmental measures will be central to Europe's economic recovery, a day after vice-president Frans Timmermans said the coronavirus crisis had reinforced the European Commission's resolve to press on with planned climate action.
