IEA chief: ‘No chance whatsoever’ of reaching climate goals without CCS

Existing power and industrial energy infrastructure could emit the equivalent of nearly 750 gigatonnes of CO2 by 2070 without a technological fix, the International Energy Agency (IEA) warns in a report published on Thursday.
