EU indicators on SDGs create ‘illusion’ of progress, says civil society alliance

The EU’s official statistics about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are “not fit for purpose” because they “fail to measure” key economic aspects and “do not consider Europe’s outsized impact on the rest of the world”, an NGO alliance has said.
