France accused of ‘denial of duty’ after MPs authorise bee-killing pesticide

Politicians in Brussels have reacted with anger to the news that France’s National Assembly has approved the emergency use of a pesticide banned in the EU in a bid to support beet farmers grappling with a virus spread by aphids.
