Industry group invokes Brexit threat to warn against new chemicals rules

The European Commission should not “change the rules” as part of its long-awaited Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability because of the risk of regulatory divergence between the UK and the EU after the Brexit transition period, according to chemicals lobby group Cefic.
