Parliament vote a ‘watershed’ moment in fight to stop EU-driven deforestation

The European Commission must propose rules forcing companies to ensure the products they import into the EU are not linked to global deforestation, MEPs agreed on Thursday as they adopted a parliamentary report calling on the executive to act.
