MEPs call for EU to withdraw from Energy Charter Treaty if renegotiations fail

Members of the European Parliament have called on the European Commission to withdraw from the “outdated” Energy Charter Treaty (ECT) if talks to reform it fail to bring it in line with the Paris Agreement.
