Blanket landfill ban could backfire, campaigners warn

Calls from MEPs for further restrictions or even prohibiting landfill could have the undesired effect of stimulating residual waste production, campaigners warn as the European Parliament finalises its report on the new Circular Economy Action Plan (CEAP).
