Shipping: EU ‘must act’ after IMO fails to set short-term emissions cuts

The EU must press on with plans to bring shipping within its emissions trading system and mandate cleaner fuels, green groups have said after the International Maritime Organization (IMO) approved a climate package that would allow global emissions to grow for the rest of the decade.
