Spain to shift renewables costs onto suppliers to boost energy transition

The Spanish government intends to transfer the €7bn average annual cost of renewables support from consumers to energy suppliers to promote the electrification of the economy while protecting vulnerable consumers from the economic impact of the energy transition.
