Green recovery: Sinkevicius promises ‘robust’ nature restoration law

As the EU executive prepares legally binding targets for reversing ecological degradation, environment commissioner Virginjus Sinkevicius has said Europe’s post-pandemic recovery must encompass its damaged ecosystems, and promised a “robust” nature restoration law this year.
