RWE accused of ‘obstructing energy transition’ as it sues Dutch government

Green campaigners have called on European countries to withdraw from the controversial Energy Charter Treaty (ECT) after the German power company RWE filed a compensation claim over the Dutch government’s decision to phase out coal by 2030.
