EU court tightens screw on chemical authorisations

The European Commission today lost an attempt to reinstate its authorisation of toxic pigments at the Court of Justice of the EU (CJEU), while an advocate general has advised that the authorisation of phthalate plasticiser DEHP was unlawful.
