Changes to energy performance rules ‘may not be enough’ to slash building emissions

National renovation strategies fall far short of what is needed to achieve the EU goal of climate neutrality by 2050, the Buildings Performance Institute Europe (BPIE) has argued, warning that coming reforms may not be enough to bring about the change the sector needs.
