UK government plans to slash industrial emissions by two-thirds by 2035

The UK’s industrial greenhouse gas emissions should be no more than a third of their 2018 level by the middle of next decade, the government declared on Wednesday, but critics warned planned investments pale in comparison to those of some EU neighbours.
