Call for stricter microplastic ban as study shows widespread use in cosmetics

The EU must impose a much broader ban on the use of plastic in cosmetics products than it is currently considering, Greenpeace Germany has said as it publishes a report showing the vast majority of cosmetics products it tested contained some form of the pollutant.
