‘Double standards’: Parliament under fire over disposable mask rules

A requirement to wear medical grade face masks when inside the European Parliament will generate an annual 12,000kg of non-recyclable waste and contradicts MEPs’ calls to end throwaway culture, the campaign group Zero Waste Europe (ZWE) has said.
