Debate rages on direction of travel for clean mobility

Electric cars may already be the most cost effective ownership option, consumer group BEUC said on Wednesday, while a trade group argued in a separate report that running cars on gas would be a cheaper way to reduce CO2 emissions on the road in the medium term.
